BAITUL MUKHTAR GROUP OF COMPANIES realizes
the importance of expanding its business activities especially
in the ICT services industry to other locations and areas
in the country. Through its neighborhood based ict dot my,
One-Stop ICT Centers, the group hopes to satisfy local ICT
customers in areas of sales and services of ICT products,
ICT training, web design, multimedia and software development
and networking, and internet services. By branching and franchising
arrangement via PKTISB sharehoding, the group hopes to establish
10 centers in the Klang Valley and 15 other centers in state
capitals around the country. Using the mid-range pricing strategies
and high quality products and services, it hopes to penetrate
into the smallest area in the neighborhood serving customers
through its ict dot my centers offering extended hours of
services following the strategies used by one-stop convenience
stores.
All ict dot my centers are run and managed
by the same standard operating procedures offering ICT courses
and selling ICT products as directed by PKTISB which acts
as headquarters and centralized purchasing center with distributor
status while training centers are treated as dealers or agents.
Extensive marketing activities such newspaper and radio advertising,
direct mails, road shows and membership cards are done centrally
to maximize effectiveness and save promotional cost. Through
its Entrepreneur Development Program, PKTISB hopes to assist
new entrepreneurs interested in ICT business in their business
management skill and to obtain necessary financial help from
government agencies needed in setting up their ict dot my
centers.
Baitul Mukhtar Sdn. Bhd.(BMSB), a subsidiary
of PKTISB, is the first ict dot my center established in Shah
Alam to cater for the requirement of the Selangor state government
market, as well surrounding arears such as Subang Jaya, Sg.
Buluh and Klang. BMSB is utilized to market all of PKTISB
product range in the ICT categories to IPTA/S students, state
government departments, factory workforce, private companies
and conglomerate firms in the area. The company is also the
sales and marketing center in the Shah Alam area for all of
the group’s product range in the non-ICT categories.
BMSB’s strategic location, which is near UiTM and others
private colleges will allow other services to be added to
its portfolio such as tuition center, cyber café, printing
and photocopy center. Through proper customer service program,
the company hopes to be one of the market leader in ICT sales
and services in the Shah Alam area in the near future.
