BAITUL MUKHTAR GROUP OF COMPANIES’s
ICT Training subsidiary which handles the ICT training portfolio
providing short-term, mid-term and long term training module
is known as Pusat Kemahiran Teknologi Informasi Sdn. Bhd.
(PKTISB). Since 1998, PKTISB has trained more than 2,000 students
of various private and public universities and colleges via
its short-term courses in various ICT related subjects. These
short-term and hands-on training are very essential to graduating
students preparing them to enter the job markets. PKTISB was
appointed as an Authorized ICT Training Center for ICT short
courses under the certification of University Kebangsaan Malaysia’s
(UKM) Pusat Kembangan Pendidikan. As one of the authorized
training centers of National Vocational Training Council program,
PKTISB has trained more than 400 students in its 8 months
course in the Computer System and Information System field
of studies. PKTISB’s 6 computer labs and workshops are
equipped with about 80 personal computers and it employs 6
lectures to run the programs. Beside the above mid-term and
short-term training programs, PKTISB was also conducting corporate
training programs for government officers of various departments
such as Institut Kemahiran Belia Negara, Institut Latihan
Perindustrian, Institut Kemahiran Mara, Jabatan Belia Negeri,
Jabatan Perpustakaan Negara, Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Dewan
Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur, Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya, FAMA,
and various other departments in Kementerian Pelajaran and
Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi to name a few. Courses offered
covers various ICT fields including multimedia, programming,
CAD, computer and network engineering, LINUX and Microsoft
Office and Windows.
Beside ICT training, Pusat Kemahiran Teknologi
Informasi Sdn Bhd is also actively involved in providing educational,
managerial and entrepreneurship developmental programs and
courses to various governmental departments and agencies names
of which include Lembaga Getah Malaysia, Institut Latihan
Perindustrian Kuala Lumpur, Jabatan Tenaga Manusia, Jabatan
Hutan Negeri Selangor and many other educational institutions
and public school in the Klang Valley. Programs offered are
in various field of corporate management, managerial and employment
skills, personal motivation, leadership, teambuilding, study
skills and entrepreneurship skill.
PKTISB intents to be one of the largest Bumiputra-owned
ICT and Management training and consultancy centers in Malaysia
by branching, joint venture arrangement and franchising its
NVTC, UKM-PKP and MOUS licensed training programs to other
ICT training centers all over Malaysia.
